I want to share my deepest appreciation for the willingness of Friends Charities to invest in my future academic pursuits over the next year. The funds you are contributing toward my education will allow me to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and give me solid footing so I may be able to better focus on my studies. I will adhere to the scholarship guidelines to the best of my ability in order to honor the commitment Friends Charities has made. These provisions will help me to achieve academic success so that I may one day give back in a similar fashion. Thank you again for recognizing me as a deserving recipient of your scholarship.
